Methodology: called-strike rate is each umpire’s share of called strikes on taken pitches, compared to the same season’s games-weighted league mean. Games called and called-strike rate are the only metrics the substrate publishes; nothing else is inferred. Umpires under 10 games in a season are flagged as limited samples.
